1. What we collect

Account details you give us (email, display name, location, roles, chemistry preference), content you create (projects, posts, photos, videos, captions), BLD Requests and messages you send, and basic technical data needed to run the app (device and session information, and a push token if you enable notifications).

2. How we use it

To create your profile, show relevant projects and people in Discovery, deliver BLD Requests and messages, send transactional and account emails, enforce rate limits and safety rules, and fix problems with the service. We don't sell your personal data.

3. What other people see

Your display name, roles, location, chemistry preference, profile picture, portfolio photos, projects, and posts are visible to other builders in Discovery. Your email address and private BLD Request notes are not shown publicly — a note is only visible to the person you sent it to. Messages are visible only to you and your Connection.

4. Media and storage

Photos, videos, and documents you upload are stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived signed links, so files aren't openly browsable on the internet.

5. Service providers

We use infrastructure partners to host the database and storage, deliver email from webld.app, and send push notifications. They process data only to provide those services to us.

6. Your controls

Edit your profile, projects, and posts at any time. Pause your profile to leave Discovery without losing Connections. Block or report anyone. Delete your account from the Profile screen to remove your profile, content, media, and requests. You can also email us to request a copy of your data.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After you request deletion, your profile is hidden immediately and your data is removed as we process the request, except where we must keep limited records for legal or abuse-prevention reasons.

8. Children

WEBLD is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
