1. Who we are
WEBLD is a platform for finding people to build with — cofounders, collaborators, investors, partners. By creating a profile or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use WEBLD.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. One person, one account.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post — projects, posts, photos, videos, and messages. You grant WEBLD a limited license to host, store, and display that content so the app can work: showing your projects in Discovery, delivering your messages, and rendering your portfolio. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
4. BLD Requests and Connections
BLD Requests are intentional outreach, not swipes or likes. Outbound requests are rate limited (currently 10 per 24 hours) to keep the platform deliberate. Messaging is only available after both people accept — a Connection. Either person can unmatch or block at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don't harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or discriminate. Don't post illegal, sexually explicit, or misleading content. Don't scrape the platform, resell access, or use WEBLD to run unrelated recruiting or advertising campaigns. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. No guarantees about people or outcomes
WEBLD does not verify identities, credentials, funding, or business claims. Do your own diligence before sharing sensitive material, signing agreements, or exchanging money. Collaborations you form are between you and the other person — WEBLD is not a party to them.
7. Availability
The service is provided as-is. We may change, pause, or discontinue features. We aim for reliability but can't promise uninterrupted access or that content will never be lost.
8. Ending your access
You can pause your profile or delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deletion removes your profile, projects, posts, media, and BLD Requests, and Connections lose access to the conversation. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, WEBLD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your interactions with other people on the platform.
