WEBLD is a social app created to encourage business chemistry — the spark that makes working together feel effortless instead of forced. We help you find people to create, build, and work on projects with: people you genuinely like, have chemistry with, and may want to socialize with beyond the work itself.

Business and pleasure can mix

The old split — keep work strictly professional, keep pleasure separate — leaves a lot of great partnerships on the table. We don't think it has to be one or the other. People should be allowed to like who they choose to work with, and to want to spend time with them. A relationship that's enjoyable is often a better foundation for building something real than one that's merely transactional.

Platonic or romantic — your call

A great working partnership can start as a friendship, a shared interest, or an attraction. Platonic relationships can be the bedrock of a long collaboration. Romantic relationships can be too. WEBLD doesn't force a category. You find someone you like, you decide what the connection is, and you build from there.

How it works

Build a profile that shows who you are — your roles, skills, and the kind of work you're drawn to. Discover projects, posts, and people across tech, trades, creative work, local business, and community initiatives. When someone's work sparks something, send a BLD Request — an intentional reach, not a swipe. If you both say yes, you're connected and can message. That's where real collaborations begin.

Why we built this

The best things get built by people who actually want to be around each other. Co-founders who finish each other's sentences. Makers who'd grab a coffee even without a deadline. Strangers attracted to each other but want to make the attraction productive. Neighbors who turn a weekend idea into a real project.
